Hellgate Demons:Darkspawn Trooper

Darkspawn Trooper

The elite warriors of the Darkspawn clans, these fierce demons wade into battle using every conceivable means of weaponry. While traditionally eschewing the weapons of man, some have been seen using the more advanced devices of the Templar, such as the Grappler, to devastating and surprising effect.

Hellgate Demons:Darkspawn Sniper

Darkspawn Sniper
These demonic marksmen seem somehow deadlier the further they are from their target. They are manageably dispatched once they are drawn into close range, but they are less susceptible to being enticed to do so than their lesser kindred.

Hellgate Demons:Darkspawn Scout

Darkspawn Scout

Combing the remains of the city, and especially its numerous underground areas, is the fervent mission of these demons. They are especially devious, often laying wait in silence as unsuspecting adventurers are ambushed and dissected before they know what has happened.

Hellgate Demons:Darkspawn Diabolist

Darkspawn Diabolist

The Diabolists are a proud group, but those of the Darkspawn are arrogant and sadistic. While the clans are so competitive that they do little to aid each other, rumors exist of these demons actually acting to the detriment of other clans. They will aid their own, although they prefer unleashing their arcane energies against their foes.

Hellgate Demons:Darkspawn

The Darkspawn are a faction within the Primus caste that have a fascination and affinity for melding demonic magic with technology. They are insatiable in their search for the new and unknown, so they often roam the streets and tunnels of London looking for caches of items or - better yet - adventurers with powerful gear. The Darkspawn not only craft their own equipment, but can also use any that they find during their patrols. It is not uncommon to see one wielding weapons of human design that have been separated from their original owners. There are several distinct groups within the Darkspawn that are identified by both their specializations and their size and markings. Knowing their individual strengths and weaknesses is vital for an optimal chance of surviving an encounter.

IAHGames have a winner!06/08/2007
Now for the moment you have all been waiting for! IAHGames has chosen a winner for the 'Design a skin for CM Angelace's blog' contest!
Before I announce the winner however, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that participated in this contest. The response was overwhelming and it was very heart-warming to see so many people show their enthusiasm and passion.
It was very difficult for us to come to a decision as each submission was very creative & original in its own way, but we could only pick one winner. Finally, we came to a unanimous decision. The entry we chose was the one we felt stood out from the crowd and best incorporated the theme of Hellgate: London and Angelace's personality in its design.
Without further ado, I would like to announce the winner of the contest!
Congratulations to the very talented PoGs for his fantastic and absolutely gorgeous blog skin design!

PoGs has won for himself an exclusive signed Bill Roper poster and an exclusive IAHGames Hellgate: London T-shirt.
he will also be using the blog skin in his blog at http://angelace.blogs.iahgames.com/
Congratulations again PoGs for a job fantastically done! I will be contacting you shortly to send the premiums over!

Hellgate Demons:Carnagor

Carnagor

If a rhinoceros were cross-bred with an elephant and a bull, it would be eaten alive by the Carnagor. This heavily-muscled monster has an incredibly thick hide, huge tusks, hundreds of razor-sharp teeth and jagged spines jutting up from its back. It is a ravenous creature, driven by an insatiable need for fresh meat.
The Carnagor is not subtle in its movements, charging and goring its prey whenever possible. It also gnashes and slashes with its tusks and teeth, making it extremely deadly to fight head on. The Carnagor is also a subterranean creature, its powerful hands capable of digging through bedrock. It uses this ability to both move unseen just below the surface of the streets of London, as well as to occasionally escape the rare adversary that can actually pose a threat.

Hellgate Demons:Blood Zombie

Blood Zombie

Still dripping with sanguine fluid, these sickening zombies are drawn to the scent of human blood. Soaked in a thick, almost gelatinous coating of gore, their undead flesh is constantly receiving nutrients, making them physically strong and amazingly resilient to damage. Some have even been known to regenerate if not completely destroyed

Hellgate Demons:Blood Angel

Blood Angel

Flying through the Burn-darkened skies on leathery wings, the Blood Angel announces her presence with a blood-chilling scream and then rains death down from on high. This demon can both unleash bolts of spectral energy or swoop in and use her vicious talons to rend and maim her victims. The runes in her skin burn with crimson intensity, both denoting her rank amongst the minions of Hell and marking her as one of the True Demons. Extra care must be taken by those heroes that favor melee combat as the Blood Angel uses her mobility and flight to great advantage.

Hellgate Demons:Blade Minion

Blade Minion
These are the formidable front-line fighters in the demon army. Their forearms have been augmented with massive spikes, allowing them to punch through the thickest mundane armor with ease. They are incredibly strong, delivering a crushing, crippling blow with each swing of their massive arms.

Hellgate mod

Ammo Clips

Ammo Clips modify the type of damage or accuracy a ranged weapon does by providing new types of ammunition. Clips carry rounds whose damage types can be technological or magical in nature. Their ability to derive effects from any of the damage classes makes the Clip Mod highly versatile.

Battery Packs
Battery Packs are the general term used to describe Mods that typically impart different types of damage to a specific classification of item. Various energies stemming from the realms of technology and the arcane are used to charge these Mods, ranging from poison to cold to fire to concussive (or physical) damage types.

Battery Packs
Fuel Tanks are the label used for Mods that convey different damage types to weapons. Whether using standard technology, alchemical formulae, or a combination of both, these Mods can cause effects within any of the damage types.

Relics
Relics are ancient objects that contain powerful magical properties. Often considered holy in origin, these are commonly fragments of some greater item whose purpose is lost to antiquity, or even something that came in contact with a person of great ability. The Templar have found ways to bond these relics to their weapons, making them particularly potent against the forces of darkness.

Rockets
Like Ammo Clips, Rockets modify the type of damage or accuracy a ranged weapon does by providing new types of ammunition. Designed for use in heavy weapons, these are rounds whose damage types can be technological or magical in nature. Their ability to derive effects from any of the damage classes give these Mods a high value when fighting the biggest of demons.
